Important Information About 2023-2024 Funding

Please note that we have awarded our 2023-2024 grant funding and will be unable to award grants for field trips occurring before July. We will continue to GO Grant applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please ensure you have read and understood our guidelines before submitting an application.

Please note: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (except schools with nonprofit status) must additionally complete the Nonprofit Supplement form.

Select an application form below:

Apply for up to:

$2,500 for on-campus outdoor visiting programs.
$3,000 for single-day field trips.
$4,000 for 2-day 1-night field trips.
$5,000 for 3-day 2-night field trips or longer.

Apply for up to $15,000 for outdoor learning structures and equipment, including greenhouses, apiaries, pollinator and vegetable gardens.

Apply for up to $20,000 for agricultural structures and equipment, including large/aquaponic/hydroponic greenhouses, animal barns, and milking stations.

Apply for up to $20,000 for aquatic activity structures and equipment, including fishing docks, kayaks, and canoes.

Apply for up to $20,000 for outdoor archery ranges and equipment, including 3D targets, backstop netting, and bows.

Apply for up to $20,000 for on-campus nature trails and educational and interpretive signage.

Are you a 501(c)(3)?

If you are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization applying for a GO Grant, you will need to additionally complete and submit a supplemental form. Please note, this form does not need to be completed by schools that have nonprofit status.

Step 3: Submit Application

Return the completed form, along with any additional supporting documentation you would like included, by either email, fax, or mail.

Need to Make A Change?

If you need to amend your existing GO Grant, you may complete and submit a GO Grant Amendment Form. Please ensure you do not make any changes until the amendment request has been approved by the Commission. Also note that, per our guidelines, we cannot amend grants to include additional funds once a grant has been awarded.
